They won the German Bundesliga by a massive margin of 25 points with goal difference of close to 80 & losing just 1 match in the process.
They beat F.C. Barcelona perceived to be on of the best footballing unit for the last 5-6 year by 7-0 in two legs & now the have won the biggest club championship the UEFA Champions League.
It's Pretty safe to say that Bayern Munich F.C. can claim that they are the best in the world. Saturday night's final ended with joy & celebration for close to 35000 bayern fans as their team finally won the coveted European title for the 5th time & the one they lost twice in the finals in previous 3 editions.
The celebrations were even doubled when you look at the fact that beat their home rival Dortmund in the process.
Arjen Robben's 87th min goal was enough to break the 1-1 deadlock & ensure that his team wins the championship match in regular time.
As they go into the German cup finals this weekend against VfB Stuttgart there a very little doubt that end the season with a treble of League, Cup & European championship
in their kitty.
The arguments against their claims to be the best dwindle further when we see that next season they will be joined
by likes of Mario Gotze & many other top footballers of the world. Not to forget the charismatic manager
Pep Guardiola who won 14 championships in 4 seasons at Barcelona.
I'm not a very big Bayern, but I too will agree that they definitely have a right to claim that they are the best in the
world & their are facts to support that too,but is their claim really worth reckoning only time will tell, for now we can
only enjoy the arrival a the new European Club Champions.
